Performance Analysis Reports [RPT015]

Tire performance is reported in miles/32nd or Kilometers/mm, depending on how the data was collected.  There are a variety of reports related to tire performance in this system.  Depending on the report chosen, a specific aspect of tire performance will be portrayed.  A description of each report available can be found below.

Note: In order to calculate performances the data goes through a series of checks.  The system will automatically select, for each tire, the longest two points in time available from the data source selected to ensure that the performance result is based on the greatest amount of tread wear and mileage. In addition, each resulting performance record is validated to rule out impossible performances, based on the criteria of minimum tread wear, mileage run, and the result has to be within acceptable limits established by the system administrator.

Any record that does not meet the performance validation criteria will be automatically excluded from all of the performance reports with the exception of the excluded records report, which show each excluded record and the reason why it was excluded.

To view Performance Analysis Reports::

1. From the Main Menu, select General Reports, then select Performance Analysis

A window will appear with a series of drop-down menus and buttons.

2. Make sure the selections on the drop-pown menus meet the desired criteria and click the FILTER button to select the desired data from the available database.

3. Click the Process button.

4. Check the report(s) desired or uncheck the undesired then click Process.

The reports will either download, or display in separate tabs on your browser, depending your your browser settings.

Performance Report Descriptions

RPT015A

Summary - Performance analysis - Matching

Demonstrates the effects of matching on performance, separating results by matched, mismatched and mixed records and breaks the results by size, make, model and retread design.

RPT015B

Summary - Performance analysis - Air pressure

Demonstrates the effects of air pressure on performance, separating results by the different air pressure classifications and breaks the results by size, make, model and retread design.

RPT015C

List - Performance analysis - Analyzed tires

Lists in detail each tire's performance record by fleet, branch, vehicle and wheel position.

RPT015D

List - Performance analysis - Analyzed tires

Lists in detail each tire's performance record by fleet, branch, vehicle and wheel position, with the additional analysis of the tread wear % and a summary at the of the report of the top 5 (in number of records) product or retread design performance averages.

RPT015E

List - Performance analysis - Excluded tires

Lists in detail each tire that was excluded from the other performance reports and the reason why it did not meet the valuation criteria.

RPT015F

Summary - Performance analysis - Retread design - Size

Lists the average performance for each retread design (retreaded tires only) that met the performance valuation criteria.

RPT015G

Summary - Performance analysis - Product - Size

Lists the average performance for each type of tire (non retreaded tires only) that met the performance validation criteria.

RPT015H

List - Performance analysis - Analyzed tires
