Merge Inspections

To merge two or more inspections:

1. Select the Fleet/Branch you wish to merge on the main menu bar
2. Go to the Complete Inspection menu
3. Select Merge Inspection
4. Enter your full name in the Inspector field
5. Enter any notes about the merge (optional)
6. Select the Inspections that you wish to merge by checking their boxes
7. Click Process

After the inspections are merged, go to the Process and Clean-up option of the Complete Inspection menu to view the reports of the newly merged inspection.


NOTE:

  • Users can merge inspections done by other users
  • Inspections can only be merged if they are from the same Fleet/Branch and within 30 days.
  • If a vehicle happens to be on multiple inspections being merged, the latest inspection is automatically selected.
  • Merged inspections cannot be edited, so the clean-up and processing must occur before the merge on the original inspection.
  • Merged inspections do not count as productivity for the users, only the original ones.
  • Merged inspections will received a unique number, just as the original inspections have a unique number. Select that number to print the reports of the merged data after the merge.
