Import Branch Profile Parameters into iPad/iPhone

In order to perform this function your device must be connected to the internet, and your Branch Profile Parameters (-BPP) file must be on the Inspection File Manager server.

How to:

1. Open the Pocket Suite App on your iPad/iPhone
2. Click Pocket Survey
3. Click Import data
4. Enter your User email and Password then click OK
5. Locate the BPP file you wish to import and click on it. 
6. When the download confirmation message appears click Yes

Note: If a second message appears warning you about exporting data, please see the notes below before continuing, else you will be seeing a message that says "Data Import Successful".

7. Click OK.

Tip:  Enable the Save User and Save Password options on screen so you won't need to re-enter the information the next time you use this function. (step 4 above)

You may have several Branch Profiles Parameters saved on the server. Observe the information on screen to see when the Profile was created and if it has been downloaded yet.  Profiles that have already been downloaded have a checkmark next to it.


Screen explanation:

DEMO/DEM: Fleet Code and Branch Code of the Profile
Created on: Date the profile was created
Last downloaded on: Date this profile was last downloaded.
The + icon will take you to a screen where you can see additional information about the BPP file, including any notes you may have entered when the BPP file was exported to the server.

Tip: There is no limit to the number of times a BPP file can be imported into your iOS device, but keep in mind that the file may no longer contain current information about the fleet and its vehicles.  The best situation is to create a new profile every time you know you will be returning to inspect tires at a given Branch..
